*"I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived in Heidelberg, Germany from 1988 until 1996, and again from 1999 to 2000. My work with paper has been featured in museums, traveling exhibitions, public and private collections, television and publications around the world. I developed an interest in handmade paper after viewing a comprehensive paper exhibit in New York City. I am an active member of the International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists (IAPMA). The signature of my work with handmade paper is using natural fibers and pigments from various parts of the world to blend the characteristics of the fibers with different elements of style. As an extension of papermaking, I have created varied objects from vegetable papyrus and in recent years created paper dresses. My interest in paper has led to recycling all types of papers to design new artworks.
